Worm gearboxes are very common and often used for conveyors, mixers as well as for other equipment where is not much space for the installing. Worm gearboxes are inexpensive. Input power from 0,06 up to 18,5 kW, ratio from 5 up to 100. There is the possibility to get very low output speed using double worm gearbox. Thanks to that worm gearboxes are widely applicable. |
